ઉત્તરાખંડ દેવભૂમિ તરીકે વિશ્વભરમાં જાણીતું છે અને એક આદર્શ યાત્રાધામ ઉપરાંત રોમાંચ અનુભવવા માગતા પ્રવાસીઓમાં ઘણું જ લોકપ્રીય છે. દેશ-વિદેશની પ્રવાસીઓ ઉત્તરાખંડના ધાર્મિક અને રોમાંચક વાતાવરણનો આનંદ માણવા આવતા હોય છે. આજે અમે અહી ઉત્તરાખંડના પંચ પ્રયાગો અંગે જણાવી રહ્યાં છીએ જેના કારણે ઉત્તરાખંડમાં પ્રવાસનનો વિકાસ વધ્યો છે અને જ્યાં રોમાંચનો અનુભવ કરી શકાય છે. આ પ્રયાગોમાં તમને પ્રાકૃતિકનો અનમોલ ખજાનો જોવા મળી શકે છે. એટલું જ નહીં આ પંચ પ્રયાગનું સ્થાન ભારતના એ દૈવિક સ્થળોમાં છે, જેનું મહત્વ પૌરાણિક સમયથી છે

વિષ્ણુપ્રયાગ

વિષ્ણુ પ્રયાગ બદ્રીનાથ પાસે આવેલું છે જે અલકનંદા અને વિષ્ણુગંગા નદીનું સંગમ સ્થળ છે. પૌરાણિક માન્યતા અનુસાર આ સ્થળે નાદર મુનિએ ભગવાન વિષ્ણુની તપસ્યા કરી હતી. આ સ્થળ પર ભગવાન વિષ્ણુનું મંદિર પણ છે. જેનું નિર્માણ ઇંદોરના મહારાણી અહિલ્યાબાઇએ કરાવ્યું હતું. અહી વિષ્ણુ ગંગાના પાંચ અને અલકનંદાના 5 કુંડો છે, તેમજ બન્ને બાજુ બે પર્વતો છે, જેને જય અને વિજય કહેવામાં આવે છે.

કર્ણપ્રયાગ

અલકનંદા ને પિંડર નદીના સંગમ પર કર્ણપ્રયાગ આવેલું છે. આ સ્થળનું નામ મહાભારતના યોદ્ધા દાનવીર કર્ણના નામ પરથી પાડવામાં આવ્યું છે. આ એક પૌરાણિક સ્થળ છે, જ્યાં કુંતિ પુત્ર કર્ણએ સૂર્યની તપસ્યા કરી હતી અને અભેદ કવચ, કુંડળ અને અક્ષય ધનુષ પ્રાપ્ત થયા. તેથી જ અહી સ્નાન કર્યા બાદ દાન કરવાની પરંપરા છે. અહી કર્ણની તપસ્થળી અને મંદિર છે ઉપરાંત ભગવતી ઉમાનું અત્યંત પ્રાચિન મંદિર છે.

દેવપ્રયાગ

દેવપ્રયાગનું ઉત્તરાખંડના પંચ પ્રયાગોમાં સૌથી વિશેષ સ્થાન છે, આ સ્થળ અલકનંદા અને ભાગીરથીના સંગમ તટે આવેલું છે. આ સંગમ સ્થળથી જ આ નદીને ગંગાના નામથી ઓળખવામાં આવે છે. આ સ્થળ ઋષિકેશ પાસે આવેલું છે. અહી શિવ મંદિર અને રઘુનાથ મંદિર છે, જે અહીના મુખ્ય આકર્ષણ છે. રુઘના મંદિર દ્રવિડ શૈલીનું છે. આ સ્થળને સુદર્શન ક્ષેત્ર પણ કહેવામાં આવે છે. પૌરાણિક કથાઓ અનુસાર લંકા વિજય બાદ ભગવાન રામ લક્ષ્મણ અને સીતા સાથે તપસ્યા કરવા આવ્યા હતા.

નંદપ્રયાગ

નંદપ્રયાગ પ્રાચિન તીર્થ સ્થળ તરીકે વિશ્વભરમાં જાણીતું છે. આ સ્થળે નન્દાકિની અને અલકનંદા નદીનું સંગમ થાય છે. પૌરાણિક કથા અનુસાર નંદ મહારાજે પુત્ર પ્રાપ્તિ માટે ભગવાન નારાયણનું તપ કર્યું હતું. અહી નંદાદેવીનું સુંદર મંદિર છે. તેમજ ભગવાન શંકરનું દિવ્ય મંદિર છે. અહી લક્ષ્મીનારાયણ અને ગોપાલજીનું મંદિર જોવાલાયક છે.

રુદ્રપ્રયાગ

આ સ્થળે મંદાકિની અને અલકનંદા નદીઓનું સંગમ છે. આ સ્થળે ચામુંડા દેવી અને રુદ્રનાથ મંદિર જોવાલાયક છે. એવું માનવામાં આવે છેકે નારદ મુનિએ સંગીતના ગુઢ રહસ્યોને જાણવા માટે રુદ્રનાથ મહાદેવની આરધાના કરી હતી. પૌરાણિક કથા અનુસાર આ સ્થળે બ્રહ્માજીની આજ્ઞાથી દેવર્ષિ નારદે હજારો વર્ષોની તપસ્યાથી ભગવાન શંકર પાસેથી ગાંધર્વ શાસ્ત્ર પ્રાપ્ત કર્યું હતું. આ સ્થળ નજીક રુદ્રેશ્વર શિવલિંગ આવેલું છે. જેના દર્શનને પુણ્યદાયી માનવામાં આવે છે.
